About Me
My journey in the literary arts – writing and music – started very early. Mom had me on the piano by 3 years, and I started typing up my own short stories when we got our first family computer when I was 6. The steady progression through authorship and musicianship continued up through middle school and high school, finally culminating in college. In 2019, I graduated from Boise State University with three (yes, I’m crazy) degrees: BM in Composition, BM in Piano Performance, and BA in Voice.
But wait–what happened to all the writing stuff? The writing never stopped during my musical pursuits. Between semesters at BSU, I completed several drafts of the first three books of my fantasy series, “The Forbidden Heirs” — the series I began at 15 years old. Now, with over a decade of writing experience and three music degrees under my belt, I combine my two passions to create novels and concept albums based on my fantasy stories.
Outside of writing and music, I am a tabletop and video gamer (D&D and Zelda all the way!), a documentary binger, and a movie-riffer with a slight obsession with dogs. I devour all things medieval history, Celtic, and fantasy. Also salads, pasta, and cheesecake. Gotta eat to live.
